Exactly what it says............... do you find the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) any use in stopping nuisance calls?

What more do you think could be done to crackdown on these irritating wastes of wear & tear on the phone lines making these damn calls?

I possibly feel a campaign coming on.

There's a "hall of shame" at http://whocallsme.com/ if you wanna research further / report these nuisance callers.

One solution I've thought of to make things easier is to exempt certain types of phone number from reverse phone look-ups in the UK.... appparently reverse phone look-up services are legal in North America + other parts of the world, but not here in the UK.

certain numbers such as 0800 / 0845 / 0870 type numbers + those of call centres (that don't use 0800/0845/0870 type numbers and just use a local area code) should be exempt to make it easier for people to trace where it's coming from without having to relying on information discovered by other people and listed on WhoCallsMe.com
